This lock feels solid and secure. The instructions were good, covering most eventualities making it easy to install. Once installed this is super easy to use and with the codes it always works.

This Schlage lock set is no longer manufactured. I wanted this style to match my existing locks. I’m happy I found the lock set in new, factory sealed condition. The lock set installed as expected and was easily rekeyed to match my existing locks.

quick to install. 20 min. works perfectly. can unlock with a key, a 4/6 key combination or with your cellphone. sets up with iPhone quickly and without any issues, no problem, highly recommend.

This is a high quality lock and is very secure. As a stand alone device using just the Schlage Sense app it is great, easy to setup and access, keeps a log of all entry/exits and attempts. I guess the main complaint is with apple HomeKit – there are several things lacking with this. 1 – It does not log anything. If you want to see history you have to go to each devices independent app to check it. 2. It send you notifications but they are not retained in the notification log on your devices and there is no way to go back to look at them. 3. It has limited access/command features for the few none light/switch/outlet products it supports

This is my 2nd door lock of this type. Works great inside the home and remotely as long as you have a apple TV 3rd generation or later. No complaints.

The Schlage Sense is a great electronic lock. Easy to install (except the 3″ screws that hold the strike plate takes a bit of energy, but they add to the security of the lock). Even easier to manage the access to the lock with iPhone. I would suggest following the recommendation of the lock(s) being within 40 ft. of Apple TV or you may not get a connection on your iPhone. The lock works without iPhone, the phone is not necessary, but very convenient for managing lock(s) and checking on them if necessary when you are away from home. I have 3 of them in home, no more keys! And no keys for someone who has to watch your house when you are away. You can give them a code that is both time and date sensitive.
