This is the pro version of the Lutron hub that is usually meant for professional installation, so they don’t sell it in places like Home Depot. It works similarly to the regular version, except it can take telnet commands and it control certain blinds that are very expensive compared to IKEA blinds. I am only using it as a hub Lutron dimmers at the moment and it works fine for that. I had to get it because the smartthings hub I prefer doesn’t have this function built in. If you get the latest Wink hub, you won’t need this.

I purchased the Lutron Pro Bridge to allow for more control over my Lutron Caseta switches in Home Assistant. I use the custom component by upsert (google lutron custom component home assistant). The normal lutron integration doesn’t work with the new caseta fan switch and doesn’t allow reprogramming of pico remotes. With the pro bridge I’ve reprogrammed my Picos to control whatever I want and am able to correctly control my fan switch.

I needed a Lutron Pro bridge to connect Picos and Casetta devices to Hubitat. Working very well and very happy. the good news is that it now supports 75 Lutron devices. I’m up to 4 so lots of headroom. It will do Picos with no other Lutron devices so it is the button master.

A must-have for power users or home automation enthusiasts. The main difference between this version and the non-pro version is the ability to connect via telnet. This feature is required when integrating with third parties to include your light/fan controls in your ecosystem.

I love being able to control my lights and fans with my iPhone. Assuming you have an Alexa device, being able to tell Alexa to turn them on or off makes even more useful.
