I have had the IRobot Roomba in the past and my LEAST favorite thing about it was that after awhile you will need to replace the battery and that battery (at least at the time) was super expensive. I am hoping the life of the battery has improved and the cost of replacement has come down but at this time it is way to early to find that out. I LOVE that the Roomba gets UNDER things and works while I am doing things. I have used this robot now several times and I am not sure it has gone into all 3 of the bedrooms. I am going to watch for that. All my cords are put away but I do notice that this robot gets stuck on my front door opening and back porch opening ( I had a different robot that did not do that). Oh… and it’s louder than my last robot (that robot was not a Roomba). I do like also the easy empty. Not perfect ( I would never advise just using the robot) – I have a Dyson also. But… I do love having it.

It is somewhat of a bounce around system. I like that if it senses dirt, it will make a U turn to be more thorough. It will follow a wall or edge, if it gets starred. Easy to use app with wifi to start with your phone with internet. Tells you how long it’s cleaned or if stuck. Simple to empty after cleaning. Cords or strings will wrap around brush. Doesn’t find its charger very often, so must carry back. Cleans faster than old robot vacuum.

constantly gets stuck under couches, chairs and the edges under kitchen cabinets..so definitely not run it at night. or you will think someone is in your house it will start talking and if not rescued it will do it all night long periodically. if I use it in the day I am constantly having to get up to get it unstuck. I bought this because I am handicapped.. not giving me any help at all.

Bought this because we have a cat and dog in the house. We named the Roomba “Harry” because he pickes up all the hair. This thing really does a great job cleaning the hardwood floors and throw rugs. Just make sure you pick up cords and other small objects before it runs. Cleans for about an hour then takes 20-45 minutes getting back to it’s dock. Empty the “smallish” catch pan each time and your fine. Love our new addition to the home.

Never went back to charger whether lo batt, or ordered. One problem was my main rug, which has a lot of black. Seems it thinks the black is a drop-off, and stops, requesting to be moved. It has no problem with a Navy carpet. Batt drained once, but I just found it dead. Probably OK for most people. It does keep the place looking way better, yet it doesn’t go lots of places, and clutter must be minimal. Recommend Velcro cord wraps. Keep all wires off the floor for better results. Love it for my shed puppy”s waterfall of hair…WOW!!!!.
