The sensor malfunctions and the notification states that I need to replace the unit. I had this installed by a professional to hopefully take away some concern about how it was installed. I’m inclined to return it and purchase a Nest unless someone can get back to me with a solution. I’ve been reluctant to reach out based on reviews that support was less than optimal and return/replace with a different unit is the most efficient solution.See more

Back screen is not acceptable. First, there are white lines in the blue and at night sometimes the screen goes white. I would return it, but it’s more of a hassle to disconnect and replace than it’s worth it. I will return a second one I purchased because of the screen issue.See more

Very excited to have an advanced thermostat with wifi capabilities. Would love to see the UI be more configurable. For example, current time display is in very small font size, where as I would love to have it as prominently displayed as current temperature. Only issue I have found so far is that thermostat goes in to “recovery mode in schedule” indicating it’s heating up to get ready for the next scheduled change, but that starts sometimes 1.5 hours prior to the next temperature change which is unexpected for a 2 degree F change. Apparently there’s an intelligent feature behind this so I’m waiting to see if this changes over time.See more

I have been perfectly happy with my new thermostat. It is great to be able to program my thermostat to adjust the temperature automatically to change when I want it to. Also the convenience to be able to change it from my phone is wonderful. I would recommend this thermostat to everyone.See more

Seems to be working remotely with the app. Installation was just okay. I bought 3 with the intention of using one on each floor and ended up taking 2 back. I installed one 4 different times and kept getting errors. A reinstall seemed to clear the error.See more

Very nice design and works great. I installed this myself without any major problems. Replaced a programmable Honeywell thermostat – would have been nice if the industry would standardize mounting plates (had to re-drill the hole for the control wires). My (very) old wiring did not have a 5th “C”wire, and the instructions were very clear on how to work around this (nb: you lose the ability to have the fan run continuously. Not a deal-breaker for me.). Connecting to my wi-fi network and Alexa setup was straightforward and easy. This enables remote control from my phone or voice control (“Alexa, set the temperature to 72.” which is the primary reason I purchased.) The registration process is completed on-line and requires entering the MAC address (clearly provided). You also enter your physical address which I have to assume is used for outdoor temp/humidity. No idea how it chooses reporting station/source, and you don’t get to specify – my readings are typically off by a couple of degrees. You’d think this would be an easy fix as various weather apps make it easy to select your nearest station. Bottom line: nice unit, glad I purchased, but probably would not have purchased without the 75% rebate from my electricity provider.See more

This thermostat is easy to maintain when you outside. Also we can schedule for next 7 days. Once auto scheduled then reduce my current bill. As I am only have one month experience but we are very positive about this thermostat and I am recommending to buy.See more

This is a streamline, attractive and functional smart thermostat! I love it! No more waking up chilled in my home…with programming that is simple my home is toasty warm when it need be and cool when I am away for work or travel! I should have bought this 3 years ago!! The best!!!See more

My old thermostat was going out and I purchased this one as a replacement. I wanted one that I could control remotely (on my phone) and this hasn’t disappointed! It was easy to install. It does need a common wire to function. I had two wires that werent being used that were running along with the thermostat wires that were being used by my old thermostat, but no common wire. I was able to connect one of the two wires to the common connector on my furnace and then to the new thermostat. It worked like a charm. Thank goodness I had those two wire or it would have been a little more complicated! The wife is very happy!!! Happy wife happy life!!!See more

Accurate along with once set up easy to use. The plastic terminals break easily on mounting bracket where older thermostats used screw type of connections. It is extremely difficult to set up wifi.
