The app will continuously spam you asking to sign up for Nest Aware despite it not being required according to the product. Any interaction with the camera (touching screen, picking up phone, moving phone) will cause a large banner to obscure part of the video asking you to sign up. Dismiss and it will just return on any movement/interaction, so basically part of the video is permanently obscured unless you pay a subscription.DislikesUser friendlinessFor the houseSee more

I have owned a few cameras and doorbells in the past and when I found Nest I knew I found the best. I bought the nest dropcam and ended up changing my doorbell and all of my cameras. When the best camera IQ came out I tried it and couldn’t believe how advance they have gotten. Even though the camera does not move it follows you. Unbelievable!See more

This camera is pretty great. It zooms in and focuses on movement, which is nice, though the resolution is simply ok. The Google Assistant is nice unless you need or want to hang the device near the ceiling, which renders the assistant less useful. I would love to see Google give users more control over the content the camera is able to erase. You can erase everything, but not specific things.See more

Bought the camera to keep an eye on my home while I was away. It was easy to setup and the app is intuitive for monitoring. The alerts that get sent to my phone are great, it responds to something moving in its field of view, and sounds. Overall great value for the money.See more

The camera sits with other decor on my fire-place and it looks smashingly adorable! Some things I wish we had – – Nest app loads slowly, and things are hard to find. – You could zoom in but I also wish I could adjust the camera angle remotely! – I get a lot of notifications. I would like to see more filter choices in notifications from the nest app.See more

Excellent picture quality. High quality night vision. Superb facial recognition. Extremely reliable. The Nest app is a joy to use. In addition to the app, accessible on smart displays and Chromecast. And now with Nest Aware’s new pricing improvements, owning a few of these is kind of a no-brainer. I would recommend these to anybody and everybody. Get a Nest IQ indoor. You won’t regret it.See more
