It can be a fairly quiet fan and still move air around the room. It can also be turned up high and it will make a mighty gust that may lift things off your wall. The coverage is great. I’m happy it filters as it operates. The light goes out when you’re not using the controls at night, very nice for sleeping. I love the magnetic storage for the remote.

The remote control does not work sometimes! Most of the time it is the speed control and the power switch are the ones that are faulty. It takes several presses to make them work the way they should! The fan itself functions well!

It is louder than I expected. The design is sleek, however there is no easy way to pick it up. The instructions say do NOT lift by the top loop; I suggest it needs ‘hand holds’ at the base. The instructions show attaching the Remote Control to the top; but there is no ‘docking bay’. The adjustable speed and sleep timer are nice features.

I bought this because I thought it would be powerful and quiet. It’s a mixed bag. If you turn it up to get a good wind then it is noisy and not good for sleeping. If you turn it down to a quiet enough speed to sleep it hardly moves any air even from six feet away. All functions are controlled via remote which is sometimes inconvenient. If you lose the remote or break it you can’t control the fan. Overall, I can’t recommend this product.

Factory refurbished to spec so it works great and is affordable. It is a great value for people like me who want to buy Dyson products, but they are too expensive for me to buy brand new. These refurbished models gave me the opportunity to purchase a great quiet and efficient air cleaner and a great low price.
