Fan itself is 5* but refurbished seems more like used. How can it be so scuffed? Even if it were used… i can only imagine it was thrown, but why not use a pan instead?! Just arrived today so hoping for the best.See more

The fan worked great initially, but after 2 hours of normal use, it completely stopped working on me. It sounded like a few blew out or something because the fan completely turned off without any notice. And it was impossible to get it to turn on again after having tried multiple possible solutions. Never buying refurbished products again and possibly this product again.See more

This is my third Dyson Air Purifier. My first one was the TP02 tower which we put in our bedroom. My wife has severe lung issues and pollen and pollution gets her coughing and choking all night. We turn the TP02 up to level 7 all day and night and my wife’s allergies have been greatly reduced. I decided to buy two DP04 fans for our office and another bedroom. The DP04 tracks six different pollution types which I can monitor on my cell phone app. The app is awesome. I was shocked to find that the window air conditioner we used in one of the bedrooms was pouring NO2 gas in to the room. Living in California means fire season fills the sky with smoke. We have hit air quality index readings outside as high as 211 and choke to death when we go out. We’ve run the air purifiers all day at maximum speed and inside the house is nothing but fresh air. Highly recommend the Dyson Air Purifiers, especially if you live in California.See more

This is a nice-looking air purifier that seems to do the job. On the highest settings it can get very loud – enough to drown out TV at a reasonable volume in a bedroom, or enough to wake you if it ramps suddenly at night (i.e. “Auto mode”). The remote isn’t backlit and is nearly impossible to use in a dim or dark setting. The “Dyson Link” app (Android version) is okay, but often loses connection with the purifier. I expected more for the price paid.See more

My son and I both have severe allergies and were having a terrible time adjusting to all the new allergens when we moved. A family member noticed and gifted us the DP04 and upon setup I saw a significant decrease in our congestion within an hour. The app is fantastic and easy to use. You’re able to view and manage all the setting from it and view graphs for each reading (which I prefer) when on the LED screen you are only able to view the number reading aside from graphs for the overall quality in real time and a 24 hr span. In the winter I keep the purifying fan on auto and back flow to keep the air clean and it works fantastically at keeping all my numbers below the goal range that Dyson has preset. In the summer you can often find my fan set to 10 (max) and oscillating and I haven’t had any issues with performance. The maximum speed is both high and pretty quiet given the power it provides. Overall we have also seen a significant decrease in pet odors.The device is also pretty sturdy. I move the device around my house depending on my location and have accidentally bumped into the wall a couple of times and have seen no I’ll affects. I only have two minor complaints. Firstly, the fan is prettt large to be advertised as a desk model in my opinion. Secondly, I’d love to see the integration of the Google Voice Assistant in conjunction to Amazon’s Alexa. I have not used nor do I plan on using the Alexa feature so I cannot comment on the actual performance there. Overall, this fan is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone that I know but for those I know with allergies I tell them that they NEED this machine. My son and I have seen a significant improvement in our allergy symptoms when at home because of this purifying fan.See more

My daughter is constantly hot. This fan has improved her sleep and consistently keeps her room colder than the rest of the house

Working well. I take out one star for limited option to switch temperature format from celcius to fahrenhait. I understand the display show the format depends of purchase market But this is silly idea. Every devices on the market give the option to user.See more
