Bose – Smart Speaker 500 Wireless Smart Speaker

I had a horrible time trying to get it to work, but with help from my son I figured it out somehow. Wow though the sound was amazing when it came on!! How can you push out that kind of incredible music from such a small unit! I’m sold!!

We absolutely love our BOSE 300 speaker. I have always loved BOSE products since I was young and they have really good sound. I have a bunch of BOSE products and this speaker did not disappoint me. I love it is easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to connect to the BOSE and ALEXA apps. It’s a great addition to all the other speakers we have including other Bose speakers. This speaker packs a powerful sound in it’s small size and I use it most for listening to music in our kitchen. It connects easily to the Bose App and Alexa apps. I am able to ask Alexa just about anything, add things to my cart, find recipes, get notifications and more. It connects easily via USB bluetooth, wifi, and airplay which is cool. It has 6 preset buttons and the sound is superior with such a compact design. The best part for me is the sound quality and how I can connect easily to my Amazon prime music and ask it to play whatever music I prefer. It also connects to spotify, pandora, iheart, weezer, Sirius XM and more. The speaker has a very sleek and classy design and doesn’t take up much space. It hears me clearly and does just about whatever I need. My kids even like talking to Alexa and one of my kids even figured out she could play games with it on the Bpse speaker too although it’s easy to mute Alexa. We are throughly impressed and happy with this speaker.See more

This was super exciting for me to try. However, I did have a few complications. First thing to note, when you go to set this up, make sure you were at home on your wireless network. I brought this item to work with me because I was so excited to try it. I could not get it to login and had to reset it multiple times. I finally realized, it was probably a network issue and it needed a smaller network. I tried it again once I got home and it worked perfect. I had no issues. Once I got it working, and once I got my Music accounts and Amazon Alexa account linked to it, it was time to listen to it. I loved how it sound. It really had a good sound and bass for a small speaker. It also allows you to talk to it just like your Alexa. If you have google home, it works with that too. I really enjoy this product and it’s functions. I definitely recommend it. Again, not for use at a large network type area, but perfect for home use for sure!See more

This Bose wireless speaker sounds incredible and whatever you chose to listen to you will be able to hear in 360 degrees. You will have to download another app on your smartphone (Bose Music). The setup could not be easier once you have the app, just follow step by step instructions. The app allows you to preprogram your favorites so you can play your music even without your phone right next to you. This speaker is sleek, and with its space saving design you can keep in in any space without offending your décor. The handle is not only convenient but also comfortable. Buttons are very functional and sensitive. I installed it with Alexa account and again the app made it very easy to link the speaker to my account. The microphone is great, it picks up your voice when speaking to Alexa even when music is loud. I love the fact that I can use the speaker in my office, bursary or take t outside anytime I want. The battery charges completely in only two hours or so. With this speaker you can take Bose quality sound anywhere and it will get pretty loud if you want it to.See more

I received this item in exchange for my unbiased review. I opted for the portable version of this speaker, and I’m glad I did. It has a comfortable handle and I can take it camping, tailgating, outside on the patio etc. It took me two times to connect Google Assistant, but it was fairly quick. I like that when you turn it on, it tells you by voice how much battery is left. It is similar to Amazon’s Echo, where it has the light that goes around the rim. The bass and music sound fantastic! You do have to download the Bose music app in order to work the speaker, so that’s the only downfall … another app, another password, and another thing to keep up with. But, it’s worth it!See more

amazing speakerI love its size and shape it is small, not at all heavy, easy to carry especially because of the soft handle. It is so nicely designed. I love the water resistant feature. the control panel is located on the top of the speaker it has a power button, the Bluetooth, play/pause , volume up and down, mute and settings. it was pretty easy to set up the speaker i downloaded the Bose music app and the setting was easy. The app need a few permissions to be able to connect to the speaker like access to your location and of course as it is connecting by bluetooth your phone’s bluetooth need to be activated. you can enable sharing the speaker which means someone else can add the same speaker to their Bose music account. once the speaker is added to the app you just log in and pick the music service you want to use here are the choices that you will have : Pandora, Amazon music, Deezer, I heart radio, Siriusxm, and Spotify. I connected my amazon music account and it worked perfectly. I also added my google assistant so i can use the voice control feature and it worked fine.the most attractive thing about this speaker is the sound, it has an amazing sound really you can definitely use it to play music during small parties. another great feature is the battery life. every time you turn the speaker on it will tell you the percentage of battery left so you know when it is time to plug it in. i noticed that once fully charged, i could use it for a while the most i have done so far was 9 hours isn’t that amazing?See more

I was so excited to get the Bose Home Speaker 500. This is a smart speaker with google assistant voice control built in. You can also pair this great speaker with your Amazon Alexa. The speaker appears to be superb quality and has a seamless anodized aluminum body giving it a beautiful finish. It is quite heavy too and would be difficult for animals to knock over. The sound that comes from this speaker is simply amazing. It is very loud and crisp. Inside the wireless speaker are two custom drivers that point in opposite directions for the purpose of bouncing sound off the walls. Since Google Assistant is built-in you will have access to any song or playlist. The device is great at hearing you speak, even if the volume is turned loud. This is accomplished by eight microphones that are located on it. The device is easy to use and pretty self-explanatory. You can control it from controls located on the top of the speaker or you should also be able to control it from the Bose Music app, which is a recommended download to your phone. You may also choose to use wi-fi, Bluetooth, or Apple AirPlay 2 – all of which are compatible. You may also choose to play from Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, or anything stored on your smart device. The speaker has the capability to set up to six different presets. You could choose to set them to playlists, internet radio stations, etc. You can also access any number of things, such as weather reports and setting timers. My only complaint so far with this great speaker is the Bose Music app. It is my understanding that the app can act as a remote control; however, mine will not work. I have downloaded the app and created an account but every single time I attempt to sign it it tells me there is a problem and to try again later. I have googled this problem and have yet to see a solution on how to make the app work. All in all, the speaker is amazing. The app may still have issues to work through.See more

I have always been a fan of Bose, so when I got the chance to get this speaker through the Spark Reviewer program I was beyond thrilled. The Bose brand has always been synonymous with high quality audio equipment. This speaker definitely lives up to it’s name. The 1st time I turned it on, I was amazed at the sound that came out of this little speaker. It’s balanced with crisp highs and not overly booming bass. The sound quality is exceptional at any volume level. It’s hard to reconcile the sound with the size of the speaker, but that’s what Bose is known for. It’s one powerful little portable speaker. The voice control mics are also very sensitive which is great, because I can be listening to music in another room, and the speaker will still respond to Alexa commands. I’ve been using it outside on my patio and it’s powerful enough that you can hear it throughout the entire backyard. The carrying handle is nice for portability. I like that it’s splash proof, so I don’t have to worry when I’m doing projects in the backyard or when I take it to the pool or the beach. The battery life is spectacular. I fully charged it and then used it outside for 8-10 hours and it still had battery life left. It’s convenient that it automatically syncs with your phone, after your initial connection. I’m extremely happy with this speaker and all I can say is “Well done Bose!”See more
