Bose Home Speaker 300, with Amazon Alexa Built-in, Black

I had a horrible time trying to get it to work, but with help from my son I figured it out somehow. Wow though the sound was amazing when it came on!! How can you push out that kind of incredible music from such a small unit! I’m sold!!

It has great sound but without the quick start information in the package, it was difficult to set up. Somehow I managed to get it but don’t actually know what I did. I am not interested in the voice control so I have no experience with setting that up. It does not have a battery which surprised me and I reduced my rating because of that. Not easily portable.

Works GREAT on laptop. I wanted this as the volume is so low I often can’t hear stuff on the internet etc.. I tried two other speaker brands that got high recommended reviews but they were TERRIBLE though not as expensive. If you want it for your laptop or computer you’ll need to connect it to it with a 3.5mm Male to Male Cable which is not included and you have to do a bit of research online to discover this. Was not sure it would work with the laptop but it is awesome, so loud now. The only thing I found annoying was how long it takes to set up which I did and then it was not for this purpose, only for streaming services. You have to search somewhat for those instructions on the internet as well. However finally set it up as I need and it’s perfect (though not wireless) Great sound quality. A+

This Bose is great!! It is very loud and a very durable speaker. Super easy to connect to a phone using bluetooth. Also, I played music on it for about an hour and it still had 100% charge. Phenomenal! The only downside is that there is no real indication of the maximum volume setting on the speaker itself. I think that’s because most of the volume settings these days are on your phone. I love the size n sound of this portable speaker. I also love that it tells you the battery life. But on one note, I wish it was louder when it tells you the battery life (kinda hard to hear). We absolutely love our BOSE 300 speaker. I have always loved BOSE products since I was young and they have really good sound. I have a bunch of BOSE products and this speaker did not disappoint me. I love it is easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to connect to the BOSE and ALEXA apps. It’s a great addition to all the other speakers we have including other Bose speakers. This speaker packs a powerful sound in it’s small size and I use it most for listening to music in our kitchen. It connects easily to the Bose App and Alexa apps. I am able to ask Alexa just about anything, add things to my cart, find recipes, get notifications and more. It connects easily via USB bluetooth, wifi, and airplay which is cool. It has 6 preset buttons and the sound is superior with such a compact design. The best part for me is the sound quality and how I can connect easily to my Amazon prime music and ask it to play whatever music I prefer. It also connects to spotify, pandora, iheart, weezer, Sirius XM and more. The speaker has a very sleek and classy design and doesn’t take up much space. It hears me clearly and does just about whatever I need. My kids even like talking to Alexa and one of my kids even figured out she could play games with it on the Bpse speaker too although it’s easy to mute Alexa.
