Amazon – Echo Dot (3rd Gen) – Smart Speaker with Alexa

Simply enjoy all the things Echo can do and to know that the device will only get better with time…

I was disappointed with this Echo Dot. I have an earlier generation and wanted another so I found this. I expected it to exceed my older model but I find that the voice quality is not as good as my older model. It can be difficult to understand Alexa. I Googled it and found a number of comments regarding this issue. I wish I would have purchased the newer generation.

I got this as a gift for my Mom. She liked how I was able to ask my Alexa how to spell words; or find zip codes to addresses; and tell Alexa to turn down to another level when she was too loud. And she liked how you could ask her to play any station she desired. Now she has her own. And it didn’t burn my pocket book. I was able to give her a great quality gift for the first time. And the best thing is, it arrived on her Birthday. It was suppose to arrive 6 days after her birthday. And I would have been saying Happy Birthday Mom your gifts in the mail. Tell me that wasn’t kismet. Right on time. With it’s new updates, it looked better than my Alexa. I maybe getting myself a new one soon.

I bought this questioning quality and usability… All I can say is that I’m Wow’d!!! Usability came through in under 5 minutes of syncing up iPhone app and quality had me really questioning if this was an Apple product. It was packaged so well, all I can say there is that the charger isn’t usb. That and if it breaks it’s you are technically screwed The last complaint is that the charging jack is very closely sized to the output jack (which I’m seriously glad they included) I wouldn’t mistake it but some folks might try and jam charging plug in there… Overall very happy, if I could ask for something it’d be a usb-c port…

The Amazon Echo Dot Gen 3 has been a very good product so far. It was very easy to set up. I’ve gotten the Dot to work with a few smart plugs in my house. It’s nice to be able to ask Alexa random questions or have her say random things.

This is amazing it’s literally brand new and the steps for setting it up is easy you should totally get this👌🏼

Love echo dot but has an issue with Amazon when setting up that it was’t purchased from them. The was clarified by Amazon when I read them the code on the bottom of the sealed box. I was advised to contact original purchaser to get some kind of number! I told them it was a “gift” and they helped walk me through set up advising me that set up might not work. Well,set up went well and we love the product!! Scare tactics through Amazon wouldn’t stop me from purchasing another from this seller. Thank you

I never realized how much the echo can do from asking it a question like will it rain today 2 who went to the Superbowl in 2001 LOL. Makes it easier to do a shopping list, play your favorite music, and more. I recommend this highly to anyone

I have the earlier version of the Echo Dot and immediate fell in love after buying my first one. I now have 4 throughout my house. So when I saw the latest version with “improved” sound, I had to try it. I am not at all happy with the sound quality. No matter how I have the sound options set in the Alexa app, the sound quality is echoy and not at all as crisp and clear as the earlier version. I do not recommend this version. However, the Echo Dot and Alexa are awesome. I would just recommend going with an earlier version if sound quality is important.

This Alexa Echo Dot is so easy to set up and fun to use! I have multiple things synced to it. It’s nice to control lights, thermostat and the ability to expand in the future.
